Topics: Mountain ecology
Norway is the kingdom of mountains. The nature interpreters can give you an insight into the mountains and the life that is found there. How do plants manage to cling to the barren mountain outcrops – and not only that but flower, seed and survive grazing animals? How do animals and birds find food in these areas in winter and summer? What do they eat? Do they migrate in winter, or do some animals actually stay and manage in the snow and wind?
There is plenty to learn and we will cover some of these topics during the time we spend together during nature interpretation.
Programmes and activities are most suited to students in lower and upper secondary schools.
Topics and programmes are based on the competence aims in the Knowledge Promotion (Kunnskapsløftet) curriculum.
