The objectives of nature interpretation

Students/participants shall acquire knowledge about:

♦ Norway’s obligation to protect wild reindeer (the Bern Convention)
♦ wild reindeer and the challenges facing them
♦ the ecology of the mountains and protected areas
♦ our ability to influence and change conditions in nature
♦ outdoor activities in the wild reindeer mountains
♦ why we must protect wild reindeer habitats

 

 
Knowledge and skills gained through activities and good experiences will help people understand the needs of wild reindeer and other animals and help to form good attitudes. We regard the natural and cultural environment as a whole.
